Investigating - If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from Zempler Bank asking you to approve or reject a payment or refund – this is a scam. Criminal organisations are using technology to impersonate phone numbers, making the caller ID appear to be from a legitimate organisation or show as “unknown”. We will never call you and ask you to approve or reject a payment or refund. If you’re ever contacted by someone claiming to be from Zempler Bank and you’re not sure it is legitimate, please end the phone call, and contact our team directly on 0330 024 0924. You can also call Stop Scam's phoneline 159 who can connect you to Zempler Bank.
Personal information or actions we’ll never ask for – if someone contacts you asking for this, they are a scammer.
Via email/text/phone: • Your PIN • Your Account Number • Your 16-Digit Card Number or the security code on the back of your card • Your Online Banking Username or Password • Any verification code from your Online Banking or Zempler Bank app • Your SMS One Time Password • We'll never ask you to approve or reject a payment or refund
Identified - We’ve temporarily suspended Mastercard immediate payouts while we fix an issue. For now, please set up another payout method with your merchant.
Immediate payouts are payments sent directly from a merchant to your Zempler card. These appear as ‘Immediate Payment’ in your transaction history. This includes things like gaming payouts, PayPal payouts and train delay refunds. Your card still works as normal for all other spending & cash withdrawals.
